6 Bold Powder Rooms

Looking to find a space within your home where you can let your design creativity take off? Say hello to your powder bath! Located on the main floor of your home, we find that this small high-traffic space for you and guests is often overlooked and underappreciated when designing your interior. The powder is the perfect opportunity to showcase your own personality and add a little bit of flair to your home. It is also where a few unique and bold selections can go a long way!

To get your creative spirits started, here are a few of our favorite powder rooms and their standout features!

Powder 1: Modern & Bold

Starting with our most recent, the powder bath from ourTuckborough Urban Farmhouse features a unique “Filigree” linen wallcovering with a custom floating white oak vanity. The quartz countertops feature a bold and dark composition. We love the circle mirror that showcases the gold pendant lights, and you can’t beat these sleek and minimal plumbing fixtures.

Powder 2: Elegant & Sleek

Next, we have the powder bath from our Modern Medina Two-story. This floating vessel sink uses the Iron's Bridge pattern from Cambria Surfaces. We added a bottom shelf for any out-of-sight extra storage needs paired with gold plumbing, a backlit mirror, and dark linen wallpaper to create a sophisticated and contrasting powder bath.

Powder 3: Whimsical & Quirky

This powder was a follower favorite from our Modern Minnetonkaproject. The juxtaposition of the wallpaper with the gold and black marble Cespar light fixture makes this powder feel full of pizazz!

Powder 4: Light & Airy

The floral wallpaper in the powder bath of our Archer Lane home is so elegant and airy. The combination of mixed metals with the vanity and mirror complements the lightness of this main level bathroom.

Powder 5: A Trick on the Eyes

You don’t have to install wallpaper to make your powder feel special. One standout highlight from our Modern European Rambler was this powder bath! Designed to look like wallpaper, this faux painted powder is a fun way to change up the interior and add a mini 'wow-factor for your guests.

Powder 6: Chic & Luxurious

Lastly, keeping things chic in this powder bath; featuring a striking ensemble of interlinked circle sconces, a floating vessel sink, and luxurious grasscloth wallpaper coverings.

There’s no reason that your powder bathroom can’t be a little piece of luxury in your home. By adding a few unique selections you can make this small room intriguing and delightful! Our parting advice - have fun with it and don’t be afraid to be bold!
