Blakely Pancratz, Marketing Director
What's your role, and how would you describe it to us?
I'm the Marketing Director at Carbon 6 Interiors! When our team designs beautiful homes, I tell the story of what makes each space so special. I manage all the marketing for both brands (Carbon 6 Interiors & Swanson Homes) - from social media and content creation to website management and everything in between. I work with photographers, videographers, and our designers to make sure every project we design gets the spotlight it deserves.
Knowing every day is likely different can you walk me through what a typical day looks like for you?
Every day looks different, but I get to set my own priorities and field requests as they come in from the team. I'm a morning person - I love diving into my emails first thing, and then like to tackle writing content and captioning. I see myself as a project manager at heart. I use Trello to organize my to-dos and plan my day. I work closely with Lindsey to keep our branding consistent with her vision. Some days I'm out at job sites capturing progress photos or meeting our photographer (shout out Spacecrafting) or videographer (shout out Russell & Superbird Studios) for shoots. Other days I'm head-down in InDesign creating flyers or exterior signage for the Swanson side of things. And most days, I'm in every marketer's MVP tool - Canva - designing Instagram stories, blog graphics, and other updates.

What's your go-to "brainfood" when tackling a challenging project?
You'll always find my snack drawer stocked with dark chocolate, popcorn, Hint of Lime tortilla chips, and those viral Grüns gummies (multivitamins disguised as fruit snacks) on-hand.
Describe your perfect Saturday:
I'm very much a homebody on the weekends. I love drinking my coffee while watercoloring, making waffles with the girls -it's become our weekend tradition, and hanging out at home during the day. I'll sneak in a workout at nap time if i can, then I love to spend the evening cooking a new recipe for dinner, and end the night watching a show with my husband.
What's a design trend you secretly love but wouldn't put in our own home?
I'm obsessed with our Modern Sanctuary project's lower level spa area - the sauna, juice bar, cold plunge, and steam shower. It's my personal heaven, but we use every square inch of our house right now, and there'd be no way to fit it all. One day, though!

Loves a eating out and taking a mirror pic!
If you weren't in Marketing, what would your alternative career be?
Probably something in health and wellness. I really enjoy at-home Pilates, my journaling practice, cooking meals at home, and I'm trying to get into a groove with running this year. I love learning about other people's wellness routines and habits, and I'm always refining my own rituals and routines - it's definitely my favorite area of interest outside of marketing.
Share a "hack" you've learned that makes your job easier:
As I mentioned, I keep all my to-dos in Trello. It's such an easy project management system I picked up at my previous job, and being able to track all my tasks and content ideas in one place is a game-changer. I also use Google Keep for work notes; project details, meeting notes, you name it. And of course, a social scheduling app is essential - we use SKED.
If you could instantly learn one new skill, what would it be?
I'm actually learning to knit right now. So far in 2026, I've made one very wonky neck scarf but I'm currently working on a new one that's turning out much better. Next I'm going to attempt a sweater!
Describe your ideal project to work on:
My job can be siloed, so I love when I'm collaborating with team members. Blake always has great marketing ideas, and I love when Lindsey slides into my DMs with content inspiration. My favorite work day is when we get a fresh set of interior photography - I have a checklist of about 20 things to do with the photos, so it's fun to fly through the day getting everything sorted.

What's your guilty please when it comes to home decor items?
I'm very drawn to anything blue, so you'll find a lot of blue pillows, rugs, vases, and accessories throughout my house. Some day I want to have a completely blue powder bath – luckily I have a team of professionals to help me bring the vision to life when I’m ready.
What's the last thing that made you laugh out loud at work?
100% Dalia. She's unintentionally hilarious every single day, and I love that I'm always laughing with her - she has such a great sense of humor. We have girls the same age, so we're constantly swapping stories, the good and the ugly. It's so nice to have amazing mom friends at work who just get it! She also is a fellow foodie, and we love getting lunch or just talking about food spots in general!

Will leave the house if there's a llama involved!
Blakely's enthusiasm for storytelling and brand building is evident in every project she touches, whether she's crafting the perfect Instagram caption or coordinating a photoshoot that showcases our work and why it's special. Her organizational skills combined with her creative eye ensures Carbon 6's message stays consistent, compelling, and true to our vision.
